We present the new line of wines “Tiny Trials”
Viu Manent continues to innovate and presents its new line of Tiny Trials wines, composed of a Cinsault and a Chardonnay of outstanding purity and character.
This line, which in Spanish means “Little Essays”, is the result of Viu Manent's enthusiasm for innovating by exploring radical and unique spots, with soils and climatic influences that determine the style of the wine. This, added to small and very careful vinifications that focus on highlighting the variety and marked influence of the place, allow them to produce these new varieties that will captivate wine lovers.
The “Blanco de Mar” Chardonnay has its origin in Ucuquer on the coast of Colchagua, born from young vineyards located in the heart of the Coastal Mountains, no more than 20 km from the Pacific Ocean. The granitic soils characterized by maicillo and red clay, together with a marked influence of the sea that seal its style.
This impressive Chardonnay from Viu Manent debuted with 93 points in the Descorchados Guide 2022 and was chosen among the best wines from Litueche (Colchagua Costa).
For its part, Cinsault “Tinto de Mar” was born in the town of Guarilihue in the Itata Valley, where the old and twisted vines that brought it to the world had to adapt to granitic-sandy soils, with little clay and a lot of quartz, as well as as well as the marked influence of the sea.
Like its brother, this Cinsault by Viu Manent also debuts with 93 points in the Descorchados Guide 2022, where it was also chosen as a Revelation Wine.
