Viu Manent is a Chilean vineyard owned by the Viu family. Founded by the Catalan immigrant in 1935 when Miguel Viu García and his two sons Agustín and Miguel Viu Manent founded Bodegas Viu in Santiago de Chile, dedicating themselves to the trade and packaging of wines for the local market with the brand “Vinos Viu”.

In the prestigious Colchagua Valley Designation of Origin in Chile, Viu Manent has 254 hectares of its own vineyards spread across its vineyards: San Carlos, in the sub-appellation of Santa Cruz, in addition to the La Capilla and El Olivar vineyards, both in the Peralillo sub-appeal.

Colchagua, the southernmost part of the Rapel Valley, is one of the best-known wine regions in Chile. It has received generous plaudits for its full-bodied Cabernet, Carmenère, Syrah and Malbec, which regularly feature prominently in global wine rankings. The majority of the wineries are grouped in the center of the valley, although there are already new plantations that are beginning to climb the slopes of the hills and explore the western border of the area, close to the sea.

Viu Manent values roots, family and traditions. Work understood as an engine to achieve dreams. We believe in transcendence, in getting involved with the heart and that doing things well is always the best option.

We are in love with wine, with its living and sensitive essence, we have strong ties with it. We believe in Chile as a privileged territory to produce wines, in Colchagua as a magical valley where the soil, the climate and the grapes seem to be blessed. We believe in taking care of details and being respectful of our environment. We believe in history and tradition as knowledge and experience and in innovation and modernity as a complement to move towards a goal. We believe in teams, in talented, professional and committed people. We believe that our commitment is to transmit this philosophy to our daily mission.
