We are celebrating Carmenere month with an exclusive event for Gran Carmenere fans!

 In honor of the 30th anniversary of Carmenere's rediscovery in Chile, and since November is the month of this emblematic varietal for our country, Vinterra and us have prepared an UNMISSABLE experience: a vertical tasting of 5 vintages of our Gran Carmenere El Incidente, including its first vintage from 2007. We will also be presenting its new image with the 2021 vintage, which will also be part of this incredible vertical tasting.

 Vintages included: 2007, 2010, 2011, 2018, and 2021.

It will be a memorable evening, accompanied by the gastronomy of our friends from Cívico Las Condes and their chef Elizabeth Landeo.

About El Incidente:
Its name originates from a legendary balloon trip by José Miguel Viu and a group of friends to fly over our vineyards in Colchagua. The ride ended unexpectedly when we landed in the middle of an open-air market in the city of Santa Cruz… This wine carries the essence of that eventful flight, where the unpredictable becomes an inspiration. Just like the balloon that defied its route, “El Incidente” is a tribute to the accidental encounter that transformed the history of Chilean wine. The Carmenere varietal emerged unexpectedly in Chilean vineyards in the early 90s.
