The Incident 2019
El Incidente is an iconic Carmenere-based wine.
The grapes come from a selection of the best vineyards owned by Viu Manent, located in the Colchagua Valley.
The Carménère comes from the La Capilla vineyard and the Malbec from San Carlos.
We named this wine "El Incidente" in memory of the now legendary trip that José Miguel Viu B, 3rd generation of the family at the helm of the winery, made with a group of friends to fly over their vineyards in Colchagua.
The adventure ended unexpectedly when the hot air balloon landed in an open-air market in the town of Santa Cruz, to the surprise of many spectators.
