Viu Manent Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon
Description
The grapes come from different blocks planted over 100 years ago in our San Carlos vineyard.
The wine was carefully aged in French oak barrels for 12 months before being bottled.
Pairing and Specifications
Especially good with slow-cooked meats such as "plateada al jugo" (pot roast), polenta with mushroom stew, and fatty grilled beef cuts.- Format: 750ml bottle
- Serve at 17-18 degrees Celsius
- Aging potential 6 years, decanting recommended.
Tasting Notes
It has a deep ruby red color.
On the nose, it is an elegant wine with notes of red fruits, cassis, Morello cherry, and cherries, with subtle hints of spices and sweet herbs.
On the palate, it is fresh, with great structure, intense, balanced, with round tannins, medium body, and a long finish.
