What are tannins?
It is very likely that any sporadic wine consumer has heard of something called tannin on more than one occasion. Despite being a common term in wine jargon, there are still many fans who use this word without being completely convinced of its real meaning and, just as many, those who do not dare to ask what it is about to avoid possible ridicule.

Decant the wine. What is it and why is it done?
The wine mainly has to be decanted to be able to taste it better. Decanting a wine means moving the liquid from one container to another, known as a decanter, to remove sediments and imperfections. Although these are part of the wine, since they have a bitter taste, it is not pleasant to find them in the glass.
